At Acorn we have recently added several Sony Venice Cameras to our fleet. The Sony Venice is available for Hire from our Facility in Belfast along with all required accessories such as: RAW Recorder, Media, Hand Held Kit, Lenses and Batteries.
The Sony Venice Cinealta is the latest addition to Sony’s range of high end Cinema Cameras. Boasting a Full Frame sensor the Sony Venice can capture various resolutions including: 6K, 5.6K, 4K and HD, as well as being able to capture in Anamorphic mode at 1.25x, 1.3x, 1.5x, 1.8x & 2x.
The Sony Venice also utilises the Sony AXS-R7 RAW recorder which allows the Camera to record RAW as well as Sony’s new codec XOCN.
A new and exciting feature of the Sony Venice Camera is the ability to detach the sensor block and have it tethered to the camera via umbilical. This allows for the sensor to be housed in a small light weight enclosure making it ideal for: Gimbals, Car mounts and other scenarios requiring an ultra low profile while maintaining maximum quality.
