Acorn is Northern Irelands leading fully equipped crewing and rental facility based in the heart of Belfast in our 10,000 square foot purpose built premises, incorporating Studio, Camera test facilities, Kit rooms, Post production suite with viewing facility, admin and production offices.

For over 25 years the key to Acorn’s success has been our “extra mile” attitude. All staff have extensive production and on set experience. We don’t simply send out kit, we create solutions for and advise on every stage of production.

Our hire equipment range is up to date and diverse servicing feature films, TV dramas, commercials, and documentaries. No job is too big or too small and all are treated with the same attention to detail with 24/7 support.

With decades of experience in the Irish and international film and television industry, our contacts and networks are vast and can source any requirement.

We are BBC and ITV approved crew and equipment suppliers. We crew for all the leading national TV channels and production companies, as well as many top international producers and broadcasters.

Multi-camera shoots, commercials, documentaries, sports reports, and promos, Acorn have crewed them all! Finding the best suited crew and equipment for the job is our speciality.

Acorn support our local tv and film industry with advice, mentoring and training, and invest our time and resources in the development of local creative and technical talent.

With nearly 20 years in the industry Gerard has developed his skills in post-production and sound to a high level he is also Arri trained level 1 technician. Gerard oversees our busy rental department ensuring the client gets the right kit and that little bit more.
